June 16th 2018 ~ Brandi & Jason | The Plantation Barn of 1810 | Morristown, Tn
When I first met with Brandi and Jason during their initial consultation they told me that their wedding would be held at The Plantation Barn of 1810. Anytime that I hear that a bride and groom have chosen this venue to celebrate their big day my photographer heart instantly gets excited. I know that Alice and her team are going to go above and beyond to make their couple's day magical and do their best to give them exactly what they are looking for.
There were so many personal touches that were incorporated into Brandi and Jason's big day. From the photographs of Brandi's parents on her bouquet, the jewelry, and the photographs that were placed inside the barn where the couple's ceremony would be held. These two were definitely surrounded by loved ones on this day.
The moment that Jason saw Brandi - it was like his entire world was right there in front of him. You could easily see the love that he has for her right there in his eyes. They vows were said, the rings were placed, and they were now Mr. and Mrs. This group couldn't wait to get to the reception and warm up that dance floor (it was 90 degrees on that day...the dance floor was already warmed up for them lol!) But before we headed over to the reception we took a quick stroll across the road to find a gorgeous shady spot with some amazing natural lighting! This is my absolute favorite part of every wedding day: the bride and groom portraits.
We finished up Brandi and Jason's photos and got the reception started. No cake?! You would be correct. These two decided to have chocolate, chocolate and did I mention...CHOCOLATE?! I absolutely love this idea. I'm not a huge fan of cake (I know - I'm weird haha) but when I saw that they had chocolate covered strawberries...let's just say they were delicious!
The reception was filled with laughter and lots of dancing! Surrounded by family and friends Brandi and Jason ended one of the best days ever and began a new adventure as husband and wife.
Brandi and Jason, thank you all so much for asking me to photograph such a special day for you the both of you. I hope that marriage brings you many years of laughter, memories, and love. Your wedding day was truly beautiful and I am so thankful to have been a part of it. I wish you two the absolute very best!
