The Process

I get several questions from my clients of how the booking process works and what happens after their session. This is completely understandable! Hopefully this will answer most if not all of your questions! But, if you have a question that isn't answered below or anywhere on my website please don't hesitate to send me an email. I would be happy to help!

Booking

So you've viewed my portfolio, browsed around the gallery page, taken a look at my blog and you've emailed me with details regarding what type of session you're interested in. What happens now? After I've received your email I will do my best to respond to you within 24-48 hours. I'll go ahead and check my calendar to see what available dates I have so I can get you scheduled for your session as quickly possible! My goal is to make your session unique and personalized. I would love to help with wardrobe suggestions, color choices, and accessories! I used to work at a clothing store, so helping you choose a wardrobe for your photos is something I would be happy to do!

Now that we've chosen a date for your photos, where will we be taking the photos? I have several locations here in Knoxville and surrounding counties that I go to for sessions, but if you have a special location that you would like to use, just let me know! I'm always up for a little road trip! 

Your Session

My favorite time to photograph a session is during golden hour, or sunset. The lighting is gorgeous and who doesn't love some sunset photos?!

I know your significant other or kiddos are going to want to know - “how long will this take?” My average session lasts about an hour, but I promise that we will make it fun!

Don’t worry about needing to pose yourself. That’s what I’m here for! If you have a certain pose or image that you have in mind that you would like, absolutely let me know. But throughout your session I'll assist with posing and telling you what to do with your hands. I've been on the other side of the camera myself. It's intimidating and at times you can feel like a deer caught in headlights...terrifying right?! I don't want you to have that feeling. So, no worries on knowing how to pose or what to do. I'm here to help! 

Afterward

After your session I will do my absolute best to have a sneak peak up of 1 - 5 images from your shoot within a few days. Every image from your session will not be posted, I like to leave some surprises for you when you look through your full gallery! 

I personally cull through the images from your session and choose the absolute best ones to edit and deliver to you. I do all of my editing myself, nothing in the editing/retouching process is outsourced. 

It generally takes about 3-4 weeks for me to have your full gallery completely finished and ready to deliver to you. You will receive your online downloadable gallery via email. From here you are able to download your photos to your phone, computer or both!
