The Face Behind the Lens…

Hey there! I’m Brittney, an East Tennessee based portrait and wedding photographer. If I’m going to spend your wedding day by your side or help document some of life’s biggest milestones, I think it’s only fair that you get to know me a little first. When I’m not behind the camera (or my laptop), you’ll most likely find me spending time with my fiance, cheering him on the racetrack, hanging out with our dog, or having my nose stuck in a book. I’m a firm believer that life’s best memories are often times made in the ordinary moments: slow mornings, backroad drives, a cup of coffee from your favorite local coffee shop and evenings watching the sunset surrounded by those you cherish the most.

My small town roots have shaped so much of who I am today. They have instilled in me a love for family, a deep appreciation for community and a relationship with Jesus that serves as the foundation for both my life and my business.

I’m a firm believer that there’s no such thing as too many books on the shelf, that every trip creates memories worth holding onto and that spooky season deserves to be celebrated for more than just one month out of the year. I’m fueled by coffee, travel plans, dreams, prayers and discovering hidden gems and collecting stories (and photos) along the way.

Fun Facts and Mild Obsessions:

✦ If there’s Dr Pepper or sweet tea available, that’s probably what I’m drinking. My beverage choices are about as Southern as my accent.

✦ I firmly believe black goes with everything. My closet seems to agree.

✦ I’ve had the opportunity to travel outside of the country twice so far, and it only fueled my love for adventure even more.

✦ My love for travel extends beyond vacations. I even created a website where I share my adventures, favorite destinations, photos and travel tips from along the way. You can check it out here.

✦ My fiance races dirt track late models, which means I’ve learned more about race cars than I ever expected to and have accepted that dirt-covered weekends are a part of life now lol.

If there’s one thing that can get me as excited as picking up my camera, it’s booking a plane ticket. I love exploring new places, experiencing different cultures and collecting memories from around the world. Travel has a way of reminding me how big the world is, while also showing me how connected we all are.

No “About Me” page would be complete without a shameless dog section. He’s the furry CEO of the operation, although his leadership style mostly consists of demanding treats and taking naps during business hours. Jace has been by my side for 10 years now and I wouldn’t know how to function without him. He’s my spirit dog, my security blanket (sometimes quite literally) and the best friend a girl could have.
