Shawn & Whitney | Waterfall Session - Cumberland County, Tennessee

About two months ago I had an idea, a vision, if you will. I wanted to do a waterfall session. I had this image in my head of a passionate couple surrounded by water and nature. So I advertised that I was in the search of "an adventurous young passionate couple." I wasn't sure if anyone would respond to this. Thankfully I had a few couples who were interested in adventuring to multiple waterfalls with me!

Shawn and Whitney were the first couple to reach out to me! I've worked with Shawn and Whitney multiple times and they are always wonderful in front of the camera. We discussed details, meeting time and place and awaited the day of the session. We decided to go to Ozone Falls in Cumberland County. We met at 6 am and began our journey to the falls.

I had never been to Ozone Falls before so I made sure to do my research online. I saw many people say that it was a very steep decline to the base of the falls. In case you were wondering they were 100% accurate. If you are thinking about visiting Ozone Falls be sure to wear hiking shoes with excellent grip and traction on the bottom! (Ya'll I had on my Converse sneakers - I do not advice this lol)

I am so thankful that Shawn and Whitney were up to adventuring with me and helping my vision come to life! I have another Waterfall Session that I will be sharing with you soon! One of the things I love most about photography is where it takes me. I've gotten to experience and see things, that I know I otherwise wouldn't have had it not been for photography. For instance - this beautiful waterfall!
