Rustic Yet Contemporary Barn Wedding in Tennessee

I first met MaKenzie and Luke a few years ago. 2016 maybe? I photographed a couple’s session for them in downtown Knoxville. So when MaKenzie reached out to me to be their engagement and wedding photographer I was ecstatic! It was so great to meet up with them and discuss details about their big day!

MaKenzie and Luke were married on Friday, November 05 at Maypop Fields in New Tazewell, Tennessee! We had the perfect fall day. Sunshine and a little bit of a brisk breeze in the air!

MaKenzie and Luke were all smiles after their first look. Every time Luke looked at MaKenzie he had this huge smile on his face. So sweet!

Surrounded by their family and friends they exchanged vows at sunset. Even though MaKenzie and Luke chose to do a first look we still had just enough time to squeeze in some golden hour photos before heading into their reception. Golden hour is exactly what it says…golden! I mean just look at that light!

The sparkler exit was the perfect ending to their special day! Sparklers make the perfect accent to night time photos. So romantic!
