As a wedding photographer I get the joy of meeting several different couples with different stories, styles, and couples that are all from different walks of life. I think this is what I love most about my job. I get to share this story in picture form. I am able to document one of the most special days in my client's lives and give them tangible memories to hold onto forever.
Brittany and Dillon were married at The Plantation Barn of 1810. I can not say enough about this venue or the staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful to give Brittany and her soon to be hubby exactly what they had envisioned. The bridal suite is located in the house just across the road from the barn where Brittany and Dillon were to be married. As I walked through the front door I was immediately in awe of the beauty that this venue holds. A stunning staircase, darling wallpaper, and detailed accents are everywhere you turn.
The ceremony was held in the barn which was built in 1810 (hence the name) and couldn't have been more beautiful. When we shot Brittany and Dillon's engagement photos here last fall they had given me an idea of how it would be decorated and the style they wanted but to see this vision come to life...breathtaking. Subtle, romantic, and intimate accents were placed all throughout the barn. Guests were in awe as they walked across the threshold! When Brittany made her entrance with her dad there were gasps, tears, and a emotional reaction from her groom. After exchanging of vows, their first kiss as man and wife, they were now exiting hand in hand as husband and wife!
There reception was filled with congratulations, hugs, and tears. Everyone was so genuinely happy for this couple. And ya'll the exit vehicle...well you just have to see it. I know I probably say this about every wedding...but this one is definitely one of my favorites thus far.
Brittany and Dillon, I can't thank you enough for entrusting me to photograph such a special day for you. Your wedding was absolutely breathtaking and you were surrounded by so many people who have loved watching your relationship and love for one another grow. I am so happy that I could be a small part of that.
