Scott & Chelsea | Engagement | Asheville, North Carolina

Oh Asheville! This city stole my heart from the moment we arrived! Absolutely gorgeous structures, landscapes, and downtown is simply amazing! Asheville is also special to Chelsea and Scott for another reason... this is where they got engaged!! 

Chelsea asked me to photograph her wedding earlier this year, and as we were discussing plans, the topic of location for her engagement session came up. She asked if I had any thoughts/suggestions and my response was, "Well...how would you all feel about going to Asheville?" I'm so thankful that they were up for this! Traveling is something that has become near and dear to my heart and I couldn't have been more excited! 

Whenever we first arrived, I don't think my eyes could stay in one place for more than five seconds lol. I was captivated by what surrounded me! We spent the first part of our evening walking around downtown, seeing the sites, and stopping here and there for photos! Ummm and can we talk about their ADORABLE pup?! Thor is a complete lover boy and has played such a big role in Chelsea and Scott's lives, that it was only appropriate that he took part in their engagement session! 

Chelsea and Scott are adventurers. They love to explore and see new places! They took me to a rooftop with a beautiful overlook of the city that they had found on one of their visits. This made for the perfect backdrop for some of their more formal photos (and Thor's too!) We decided to end our day with "Good Vibes" - no pun intended! (Okay maybe it was intentional lol) This place was amazing! I can't wait to go back myself and explore this city even more! 

I'm even more excited about Chelsea and Scott's wedding in 2018! It's going to be EPIC!!
