September 23rd, 2017 ~ Allison and Drew | Knoxville, Tennessee
" You look like the rest of my life."
Ya'll Christmas has been here and gone and I can FINALLY share all of these wedding photos!! I've been dying to share them with you! One of the most popular gifts at Christmas time is the gift of photos. I completely and one hundred percent support that. I do my best to give my grandmother an updated family photo every year for Christmas, and the way that she looks at that photo when she opens it, it is truly priceless. With that said, I haven't shared a lot of my recent work with you.
So, we are going to go back to September to Allison and Drew's beautiful and intimate wedding! When this couple met with me and we were discussing details for their wedding I had mentioned that a sunrise Cades Cove session would be amazing and that one day I would love to do it! Little did I know that these two were very dedicated and adventurous... we journeyed to Cades Cove SUPER early (4 am I think?!) And it was definitely worth it! The sunrise was breathtaking, the mountains were something straight out of a painting, and the love between these two people made it even more beautiful.
Allison and Drew went the traditional route for their wedding, no first looks for these two! But, they decided that they wanted to exchange letters with one another before the ceremony. In the moments that they were reading their letters from one another, everything was so peaceful and calm. Brides, wedding party, parents...you know how hectic and busy a wedding day can be. I fully encourage my couples to just take a minute to themselves or with one another and just breathe. Don't let the day fly by and not have any memories of it. Remember how you felt waiting to see your future spouse, how you felt right before you shoved that cake in their face, the moment that your dad takes your hand to walk you down the aisle, or the look in your loved ones eyes when you see each other for the first time.
I am so thankful to have photographed such a special and beautiful day for these two sweet souls!
