Cloudy Spring Engagement Session | Knoxville Engagement Photographer
“I planned on proposing somewhere special. Growing up, I always enjoyed being at the lake that was blocks away from my home. So, I decided to share this exciting moment with the love of my life at my favorite place - The Sea Wall at the lake. We walked to the lake on a cold winter afternoon. We stood there at the sea wall with the frozen lake behind it. We were reminiscing on old times, our first date, how we met and how far we’ve come. Then, I got down on one knee and proposed.”
This is the proposal story of Gabby and Josh! Could you get anymore romantic?!
These two sweethearts are getting married next spring and I could not be anymore excited for their big day!
Gabby reached out to me in February and said that her and her fiance were looking for someone to photograph their engagement photos and to also photograph their special day. We planned a day for their engagement photos and discussed details about location ideas.
We decided on Meads Quarry here in Knoxville. Due to weather, we previously had to reschedule their engagement session. So when we arrived at the quarry on the day of their session and saw that there looked to be a few rain clouds in the sky, we were all a little apprehensive.
Thankfully, it never rained during their session. The clouds provided the perfect lighting for the entire session!
Gabby and Josh, thank you both for driving from Nashville for your engagement photos and thank you for choosing me as your photographer! I am so thankful that we were finally able to capture these images for you both! I can not wait until your big day!!
