Melanie and Josh are ENGAGED!

These two love birds are going to be tying the knot next spring and I am over the moon to be photographing their special day! Josh, Melanie and I met up last month to photograph their engagement session. We crossed our fingers (and toes) for no rain! I don’t know about you but I have had enough rain to last me until next year!

Thankfully, we were blessed with a beautiful and mildly warm evening! I quickly learned that Josh and Melanie were comfortable just being themselves in front of the camera. They laughed, goofed off and hip bumped throughout their session and it made for some of the best photos!

Melanie also included her grandmother’s quilt in their engagement session. Anything from a grandparent is special and sentimental but there was something extra special about this quilt. Melanie’s great-grandmother made it by hand with the help of Melanie’s grandmother. Ya’ll, how special and sweet is that?!

I am so excited for Josh and Melanie’s special day next year! It is sure to be beautiful and filled with lots of love and special memories!!
