Introducing Baby Maverick | Newborn & Lifestyle | Alcoa, Tennessee

Ya'll... April was crazy!! Anyone else feel that way? I just looked back at my calendar and I photographed 14 portrait sessions and 2 weddings! Then I realized...wait, I haven't blogged any of this! 

About a week after Maverick was born we were scheduled to take his newborn photos. Newborn photography isn't one of my specialties but I'm working on that :) I'm sure you all have seen little miss Emery here on the blog and on my Instagram feed so now you get to meet her baby brother! 

Mommas, if you ever book a newborn session with me please don't feel like you need to rush or stress if your baby isn't being super cooperative. Especially with newborn photography we go at the baby's pace and tempo. I account for plenty of breaks, feeding if need be, and diaper changes. We move slow and try to create a relaxing environment for baby :) 

If you're not sure about newborn photography I highly recommend booking a lifestyle session for you and your family. Lifestyle is a great way to capture the day to day motions of having a little one in the household. For Maverick's session we combined a little of both!

I loved getting to spend time with one of my favorite families and I'm so excited for them to have welcomed another adorable little one into the world.
