The Perfect Date To Become A Cate | One Year Later

I first met Julia and Andrew when they asked me to photograph their son's birthday photos three years ago. Little did I know one day we would be related! Julia's cousin and I were married in October of this last year. I gained a wonderful husband and an amazing family. 

I am so glad that I have been able to photograph this family's many milestones and give them memories to cherish. When Andrew proposed to Julia I was beyond thrilled, when I got the text message I actually squealed (yes, like a little girl) inside my car driving down the road. I was so excited for them! But I was even more excited when Julia asked me to photograph their wedding day! The date was set. 04/23/2016.

Now, a year later... I was asked to photograph their one year anniversary session. Julia and Andrew wanted the location to be where they held their ceremony. If you've never been to Heartland Meadows I highly suggest you visit there. It's absolutely beautiful and the venue owners are wonderful to work with. 

We roamed around the venue for a couple different backgrounds and settings and ended the session with a campfire right outside the barn. We had many laughs, giggles, and made great memories. I love when I have return couples and families! I love getting to watch their story unfold and watch their family grow. 

Julia, Andrew, and Ziek it is such a blessing to not only call you friends but to know call you family. I will be forever thankful for each of you. Thank you for asking me to photograph so many memories and milestones in your lives. I have been blessed to be a part of every step.
