Pregnancy Announcement | Miranda & Andrew

I will never be able to thank this couple enough. This couple was the very first client that I ever did pictures for. Wanna know the full story...? Here we go :)

4 years ago I was in nursing school and received a message from Miranda asking if I could take her and her fiance's engagement pictures. I was very unsure and very, very nervous. These were engagement pictures that she was going to possibly send out on her wedding invitations, hang in her house, and cherish for years to come.

I thought about it and told her that I would gladly take her engagement pictures, but had no experience with posing people or anything like that...pretty much book me at your own risk lol. The only camera experience that I had at the time was landscapes, flowers, animals, and just nature in general.

After I gave Miranda and Andrew their image CD from their engagement session, Miranda wanted to know if I would help photograph their wedding. Oh boy.... This was something completely new to me as well. But once again I agreed and told her that I would do my best but had no experience or history with photographing a wedding. So, the day of the wedding came and I did the best that I knew how to do at the time, and thankfully they both were happy with their pictures.

One year after their wedding, I was fortunate enough to be able to photograph their one year anniversary, by this time (thanks to them) I had gotten more experience with posing, experience with my camera, and learning new techniques to editing.

Now, I am beyond blessed and oh so thankful to photograph another milestone and journey in their lives. Their first baby!! Talk about someone who was excited...this girl right here lol. I was so happy for these two to be entering into a new journey in their lives, and ecstatic to be photographing it!

Miranda and Andrew, to you both I can not say thank you enough. I truly believe God placed us in each other's paths for a reason. Without the message asking me to take your engagement pictures I truly don't know if I ever would have even dreamed of being a photographer, it had never even crossed my mind beforehand. So, again thank you both from the bottom of my heart for that message. I hope to capture your milestones and memories for years to come.
